Tree Riesener has published poetry and short fiction in the United States, Scotland and England. Her achievements include the Semi-Finals of the Pablo Neruda Competition, the Authors in the Park Short Story Competition, a double first for the Short-Short Story and the Literary Short Story at the Philadelphia Writers Conference, the William Van Wert Fiction Award and a Hawthornden International Writers Fellowship at Hawthornden Castle, Scotland. Two short stories have been staged by the Writing Aloud Series at InterAct Theatre, Philadelphia. She is Managing Editor of The Schuylkill Valley Journal and the author of Liminalog (The Inmates Run the Asylum Press, 2005), a chapbook of ghazals and sijo.

Peter Krok is the editor of The Schuylkill Valley Journal since 2001 and Humanities/Poetry Director of the Manayunk Art Center where he has coordinated a literary series since 1990. Because of his identification with row house Philadelphia, he is often referred to as “the red brick poet.” His poem, “10 PM at a Philadelphia Recreation Center,” was selected for inclusion in Common Wealth: Contemporary Poets On Pennsylvania (Pennsylvania State University Press, 2005).
